Buffalo Trace’s gift shop release for Tuesday, February 21, 2023, was E.H. Taylor, Jr., Small Batch according to the Buffalo Trace Distillery product availability site.
E.H. Taylor, Jr. Small Batch was the 2nd odds-on favorite choice from yesterday’s blog post.
Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Sazerac Rye, Wheatly Vodka, and Bourbon Cream also show as available.
E.H. Taylor Jr., Small Batch
Single Oak Project
W.L. Weller Special Reserve
This item is eligible for purchase if you haven’t purchased the same bottle since Wednesday, November 23, 2022, in accordance with the Buffalo Trace 90-day rule.
Odds For Tomorrow
Buffalo Trace’s gift shop release odds for Wednesday, February 22, 2023:
|W.L. Weller Special Reserve||26.30%|
|E.H. Taylor, Jr. Small Batch||0.40%|
|Single Oak Project||0.00%|
The odds are calculated using historical data and are not a guarantee. We want to encourage everyone to visit the Buffalo Trace Distillery even if the bottle they wish for isn’t the odds-on favorite for that day.
The odds using the historic data above show Eagle Rare as the favorite but recency bias would indicate W.L. Weller Special Reserve and Blanton’s to be in a more favorable position. Eagle Rare was sold every seven days on average over the last four releases suggesting the next release date is closer to tomorrow or Thursday.

Got to BT around 10:50, and got both EH Taylor and Sazerac Rye.
By 11:00 it appeared the Taylor was running out, as was Buffalo Trace, but they were putting out more Sazerac Rye. For a great breakfast or lunch after I do recommend Melissa’s Diner on 859 Main Street, where I just finished a great breakfast. Better than Cracker Barrell and much cheaper. No relationship, just enjoy good food!
