When Does Blanton’s Sell Out At The Buffalo Trace Distillery?

Purchase Restrictions And Eligibility

Allocation System: In response to the whiskey shortages, the distillery has put in place an allocation system. Under this system:

  • Buffalo Trace Bourbon is available for purchase every day.
  • Blanton’s, E.H. Taylor, Jr. Small Batch, Eagle Rare and W.L. Weller Special Reserve are rotated through the gift shop available for sale on different days.

Purchase Restrictions: To ensure that as many visitors as possible have a chance to purchase their whiskey brands, the distillery has implemented purchase restrictions. Visitors can buy only one bottle of Buffalo Trace Bourbon per day. For all other allocated whiskey brands, visitors are limited to one bottle of each brand every 90 days. These restrictions aim to prevent individuals from buying large quantities and ensure fair access for all customers.

  • If you buy Blanton’s today, you are still eligible to buy Eagle Rare, E.H. Taylor, Jr. Small Batch, or W.L. Weller Special Reserve.

Limited Daily Supply: It’s important to note that the daily supply of whiskey allocated to the gift shop may run out before the shop closes on any given day. This is because there is a limit to how much they can offer each day.

The Gift Shop operates on the following hours:
Monday – Saturday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.
