Fathertime is a Kentucky bourbon from comedian Jim Gaffigan. Second Child Syndrome is Fathertime’s second release. Jim fell in love with bourbon after he and his wife Jeannie learned an occasional drink provided a momentary break from parenting teenagers. If you have children, you understand.

Jim has been blessed with five children, yet he found the arrival of his second baby the hardest. With the first child a naïve optimism often persists in most fathers: “Maybe my life will not completely change.” But, of course, it does.

Second Child Syndrome embodies what a father experiences with the arrival of a second child. Whatever delusions a father of one has that he’s young, hip, or free are suddenly gone.
