Bourbon & Brotherhood: A Chance to Give Back to Kentucky’s Flood Victims

At Buffalo Trace Daily, we built this site to help fellow bourbon enthusiasts track allocations and improve their chances of getting that coveted bottle. But today, we want to take a step back from whiskey and highlight something far more important.

Kentucky has been hit hard by severe storms and flooding, and tragically, 9-year-old Gabriel Andrews lost his life when floodwaters swept him away on his way to the bus stop. It’s a heartbreaking loss for his family, his community, and all of us who call Kentucky home.

In his honor, we want to share a way to help. Governor Beshear has established the Team Kentucky Storm Relief Fund, which provides direct aid to families impacted by these devastating storms—every dollar donated goes straight to those in need.

If you’re in a position to give, consider donating $27—the cost of a bottle of Buffalo Trace—or whatever you can. We know times are tough, and there’s absolutely no pressure. But even a little bit can go a long way for those rebuilding their lives.

Thank you for being part of this community—not just for the bourbon, but for the kindness that makes it special.
