We are going on day 34 without a Sazerac Rye release at the distillery. This is the longest stretch we’ve seen since being introduced to the lineup in September last year. There has been a recent trend with Sazerac Rye not being released as often as other products.

The odds are calculated using historical data and are not a guarantee. We want to encourage everyone to visit the Buffalo Trace Distillery even if the bottle they wish for isn’t the odds-on favorite for that day.

We haven’t heard an official confirmation on the Single Oak Project being eliminated from Buffalo Trace’s lineup but it has been over a year since being released. The Single Oak Project odds are included every Sunday, the only day it has been released at the distillery. Monthly Recap for August, 2021

Overall the distribution was fairly even, meaning no one bottle was heavily favored over the others with the exception of the Single Oak Project which has not been sold since June 13th. Below is a quick summary for each limited release offered at the Buffalo Trace Distillery.

Blanton’s – Blanton’s was released the most in July and follows up that performance with a tie for being release the second most, 8 times, in August. It was released back-to-back only once during the month, Sunday the 8th and on Monday the 9th. It also continues to go with the least number of days before being sold again, 6 days was the longest streak in August. This seems to be a theme as Blanton’s has been sold more than any other limited release so far for the year with a present count of 64 times.

Eagle Rare – Eagle Rare was sold 10 times, more than any other product in August. Two times during the month it was released on back-to-back days. The first occurrence being on the morning of the 3rd and the next day on the 4th with the second time taking place on the afternoon of the 13th and the next morning on the 14th.

E.H. Taylor, Jr. Small Batch – E.H. Taylor, Jr. Small Batch continues to get the least amount of love as it was only sold 7 times in August. This was sold the least number of times compared to the other limited releases and is a trend that continues for a second month in a row.

W.L. Weller Special Reserve – W.L. Weller Special Reserve was sold 8 times in August, tied for the second most. This continues be the second most sold product for the year with a count of 63 times as of the end of August.

Eagle Rare is going on six days without being released and is a heavy favorite for tomorrow. There have been only six other times this year when Eagle Rare wasn’t released for six days and it was released the next day for three of those occurrences. Let’s see if this trend continues tomorrow!
